Come to the John Wright Restaurant
Enjoy casual dining in a restored warehouse along the Susquehanna River. Our Four Seasons Dining Room, a timbered structure that extends from our warehouse and is enclosed on three sides with glass, has a breathtaking view of the River at one of its widest points. The menus include fresh, locally produced foods which vary with the seasons. In the summertime, some are grown on the premises. The temperature controlled dining room is open for lunch, dinner, Saturday breakfast, and Sunday brunch. When the weather suits we always offer outdoor seating options, but space is limited so please make reservations. Unfortunately, due to space we can not always guarantee a table for all outside reservations during sudden storms. Please check our hours of operation. While dining at the restaurant, take time to shop at our retail store.


Come join us for Happy Hour
Join us for a fun Happy Hour every Wednesday through Saturday from 4 pm to 6 pm. It's where York and Lancaster meet! Our bar boasts one of the best views of the Susquehanna River in both York and Lancaster Counties. Live Music year round on Friday and Saturday nights; check under events tab for schedule.

Join us every Wednesday evening, starting at 7 pm for trivia, with questions and prizes served by our trivia host, Greg!

The Patio
During the warmer months John Wright Restaurant has a seperate outdoor dining room that specializes in Italian wood fired pizzas. This separate restaurant has a lighter fare menu including salads, burgers, and entrees.


Breakfast And Sunday Brunch
Not to be missed is our popular, grand Sunday brunch. The menu includes a variety of breakfast and lunch items along with specials that change weekly. The omelets and waffles are made to order, and each week there is a different roast carved. We are also serving a full breakfast from our menu on Saturdays. At this time, we no longer serve breakfast Monday through Friday.


Our Dedication
At John Wright Restaurant we always do our best to use the freshest ingredients possible. Our eggs come from cage-free chickens that are allowed to go in and out of the barn at will. They live in Elizabethtown and we pick up fresh eggs every week.

We buy from local farmers as much as possible and receive several deliveries every week of just picked produce, including tomatoes, squash, peppers, potatoes, cantaloupe, mushrooms and whatever else is fresh and in season.

We know where our food comes from and we avoid anything premade or processed including our bread and desserts. Our in-house pastry chef makes new and fresh desserts every week and our dinner and burger rolls are baked fresh on premise.
